Do some women actually fall for pick-up artist techniques?

It seems that the purpose of PUA’s is to hook up with as many women possible and many times it includes making up stories and using other tactics to get their attention that do not represent who the PUA really is.

My question is, can women tell if a guy is using these tactics on her? What’s wrong with just being yourself and meeting women that way? I’ve never had problems meeting women through being honest and open about myself.

Most PUA are trained to handle women. They know what are the general pool expecting from man. Most simple thing is, give them what they are looking for. Fulfill them emotionally and you will get rewarded.

If you are talking about tactics, actually … nothing wrong. It is just some easy ways we teach people, how to deal with their objection and get lesser problems in their relationship.

    You’re never going to get anyone here to admit that they’d fall for a PUA, for one, they might have already and not even known.

    As to tactics, everyone, both men and women use tactics when it comes to dating.

    And just look at how many say they want nice guys yet always seem to end up with jerks.

    I was doing good with women too, now I’m doing things beyond my wildest dreams. So why settle for just being "good"?

    seriously, i wouldn’t fall for those techniques because
    1. they are kind of obvious and it shows you try too hard
    and
    2. everyone knows when you are using them because of the show.

    i prefer guys who act like themselves and don’t care what other people think.

    but that’s just me.

    be yourself and dont use corny pickup lines cuz sumtimes they mite get offended or they will jus give u dirty looks and walk away, if uve known the girl for a while than u can use one to b funny knoin that shell laugh.

    I don’t fall for them.If you really liked the girl, you wouldn’t need to use a line.I think they are just dumb and pointless.

    if your referring to that show…then NO. the guy who teaches it is super weird anyways and i don’t understand how he can supposedly pick up sooo many women. im a 19 yr old woman and i am most attracted to a guy when there themselves so your doing the right thing. being hit on with all the corny lines gets old fast…
