Well, there are so many opportunities for you to talk to her. If you happen to see her in the gym class, *smile* at her a couple of times. See how she reacts. If she smiles back at you, then you know that she’d be fine with talking to you. Find a moment when she’s not busy and just say or ask something. Not witty or intellectual, just a plain statement or question.
- (Smile) Hi, how are you doing today ?
- I am John. What’s your name ?
- I see you are a regular here. Do you like gym class ?
